CJC-1295 is a synthetic peptide analogue of growth hormone–releasing hormone (GHRH) that was developed to increase the natural secretion of growth hormone (GH) from the pituitary gland. It is engineered to have a prolonged half-life compared with native GHRH due to binding to albumin in the bloodstream, allowing for more sustained biological activity.
CJC-1295 is primarily studied for its potential to increase growth hormone and IGF-1 levels, which may influence body composition, recovery, and metabolic processes. Reported research effects include improved protein synthesis, support of lean body mass, enhanced recovery from exercise, and possible positive effects on sleep quality and overall well-being. It has also been investigated in relation to age-related decline in GH secretion.
